Elbowz Elite Cycling Team
Elbowz racing, founded in 2011, is an up and coming men's pro cycling team. Spurred by a lust for cycling and quick personal success in bike racing, Ben Spies, motoGP badass, started this US-based team as a way to foster development among a select set of elite amateur bike racers. Their initial year as a pro team included some impressive results: 70+ wins, 2nd amateur team in the US, 2nd in the USA criterium series team standings and 1st in the USA criterium lap leader competition, just to name a few. If this is any indication, and we think it is, expect great things from these guys for 2013.
Team Mountain Khakis/SmartStop
Originally founded as Time Pro Cycling in 2006, Team Mountain Khakis/SmartStop is a US-based men's pro cycling team. The team has earned a solid reputation as a force to be reckoned with in the USA Crits Series. Not only do they own individual overall titles from 2009 (Mark Hekman), 2010 (Issac Howe) and 2011 (Luke Keough), but for the last four years, they've also taken the team title. (Can you say, domination?) And that's not all; they're also known as having the best looking, hunkiest squadron of men on two wheels of any US-based pro team.
